Posting Guidelines

We added this section to help standardize proper communication, maximize the benefits of the forum, and utilize modern technology as it relates to translation software. If you post with these guidelines in mind it will greatly assist everyone with providing the help you need and maintain open communication within this forum community.

All information and instructions given within these forums is to be used at your own risk. By following or using any of this information you give up the right to hold Studio H, LLC liable for any damages. Studio H, LLC is not responsible for any posted links valid or broken going to any non-Studio H websites which may include blogs, message boards, forums, or any other applications online.

Studio H discourages and highly recommends that members do not use their email address as their display name. This is to protect you from spam bots that could potentially pick up your email address and spam you.

The forums are categorized as Generalized Discussion and Question & Answers. Generalized Discussion is used to share ideas, photos of artwork, or to talk about particular topics. Question and Answers are used to ask a specific question and receive an answer. Please post your questions or messages in the appropriate categories of this forum.

Please use the search area, at the top right of each page, to find the answers to your question(s). If a question is not there, please create a new post and ask a new question.

Please use Search first.
There is a good chance that unless you have some really odd or unique problem that it has been addressed on our forum before, please use the forum’s search feature first to see if there are already some good threads on the subject. It’s easy to search – just click in the search area at the top right of the page.

Be descriptive and don’t use “Irrelevant” topic names.
Please post a descriptive topic name. Give a short summary of your problem in the subject. (Do not use attention getting subjects, they don’t get attention and only annoy people).

Generally anything similar to those is unacceptable. Just post your problem.
Here is a good example of a way to post a question.

“What colors do I need to mix to make a good eggplant purple? I have tried red and blue and cannot get the color needed.”
or
“What is the best technique and brush to use for making clouds and what angle and part of the brush do I use?”

When posting, please use proper grammar.
Refrain from ‘text-message’ style substitutions of words like ‘u’ for ‘you’, and ‘ur’ for ‘your’. This is a global forum, and we may have individuals from many countries where English is not there first language that must use translation software which may be confused by abbreviations or slang.
